Other description: Nebula low brightness.
Dreyer description: Very faint, 8th magnitude star involved little excentric.
RA: 23h 20m 42.0s Dec: +61°12'00" (Epoch 2000)
Always above horizon. Transit: 01:15
I used the 'Minimum' filter to yield this view of the Bubble.
It reduces the stars and enhances the subtleties of the Nebula structure, I think it is very striking.
TELESCOPE: 8" Newtonian with coma corrector , F/5.18.....( designed and made by myself )
CAMERA: 'SBIG' ST-8XE & CFW8 color filter wheel
CAMERA TEMP: Temp. = -18 C
Processing; Maxim align, combine, curves, stretch, color combine, unsharp mask, mild DDP.
